Online evaluations are $600.US dollars and include the following:

GETTING STARTED
1. Contact Renee Newman, Director by e-mail with your concerns.
We will determine which tests are needed based on your recent IQ and standardized tests
(if any). IQ and academic achievement tests might be necessary.
2. Send payment by check or money order payable to:

Or pay by check online (+ $18. processing fee).
Or pay by credit card online (+ $18. processing fee).
3. Send copies of your complete* school record to:

-Include: Elementary, Secondary, and College records
-Include results of all standardized intelligence & academic tests
(Examples: IQ, WISC-III, IOWA, CAT, MEAP, ACT, SAT, PSAT, GRE)
*As complete as possible.
4. Send a written narrative explaining learning difficulties.
For each year of formal schooling, describe:
a. Earliest memories of learning difficulty
b. Specific experiences (especially traumatic)
c. Action taken to correct problems
d. Effectiveness of each action
e. Accommodations granted
f. Effectiveness of accommodations
g. Report card & teacher comments
h. Student's attitude & emotional well-being
i. Parents' comments
j. Physical & health incidents affecting intellect or achievement
k. Family, social, & emotional incidents affecting achievement
l. School/instructional factors affecting achievement
5. Standardized IQ and achievement tests may be ordered.
-Test results appear in written report
-Looking for gap between IQ and performance
6. Public elementary & secondary students should immediately:
a. Begin a formal journal to track process & progress.
b. Record details of every action, conversation, & relevant student experience.
c. Print out the LD Checklist.
d. Check all symptoms experienced.
e. Compose a letter addressed to the school principal, requesting
the student be tested for all areas of suspected disability
f. After receiving the written request, or teacher referral,
the school has 30 days to respond to the request
and to schedule an evaluation.
g. The evaluation must be completed within 30 days and
h. Must conclude with an IEPC (Individual Education Programming Committee)
meeting, held at a convenient place and time for all participants.

TIMELINE
1. Once all records are received and testing is completed, please allow 7-14 days for comprehensive review, reporting, and diagnosis.
2. Bound reports with diagnosis letter are sent Priority Mail (3-day) or will be e-mailed in PDF format.
3. School officials may e-mail director regarding: report, recommendations, accommodations, and education law compliance.
4. Parents and students may e-mail the director for assistance at any time.
