Age 17: Just have always thought I was worse at math then others and am trying to see if it's dyscalculia.

Age 24: I really struggle with math. I am barely passing my current course in college and need a way to either waive the course or even anything to get me through it. It is bringing my GPA down significantly. I have always had so much trouble with math and even with tutoring, I cannot grasp the concept of what is being taught. Mom and my sister both have severe trouble with math. They both have the same issue I have with math. I excel at writing, reading, playing music and crafty things. I work well with my hands and do better with words than numbers. I have a terrible time focusing on anything that is math-related. I cannot focus on just auditory things, I need to be able to see it. I cannot memorize formulas and I often mix up numbers in problems. I want to be a special needs advocate in the Human Services Major. I go to Bible College. I'm enrolled in a math course, social work course, and Bible courses. I work full-time as a caregiver and am a full-time student. Learning disability in elementary school. I went to a special class every day up until middle school after I begged to be taken out.

Age 29: Have always hated math, I frequently have nightmares in math classes, was in an extra math class in middle school that humiliated me.

Age 26: I cannot understand basic math no matter how hard I try. I need help with algebra and applications.
